GABRIEL
GABRIEL is an electronic ambient artist who inspires emotional visuals with a rich sound, full of textures and analog warmth. GABRIEL enjoys weaving obscure samples and down-tempo hip-hop elements into his music to create compositions suitable for both the dramatic and lethargic.
GABRIEL's interest in music and audio production began in Orlando, Florida where he spent the first part of his childhood. He loved spending hot afternoons making cassette tape recordings and chasing lizards through piles of dried leaves and grass in his backyard. the recordings made at an early age were mostly comprised of sound collages and dramatic skits performed by GABRIEL and his brother Benjamin, later these recordings would evolve to include experimentation with sounds from toy keyboards, record players and acoustic drums.
GABRIEL has always had a love for electronic music and film score and is heavily influenced by the early recordings of Tangerine Dream, Brian Eno and many other ambient artists and composers. GABRIEL also works on many side projects including collaborations, remixing, and working with a variety of genres as a producer.
